February 28th 2006 : A little news...

The Kerbcrawlers have great difficulty with playing midweek shows, as one of our number teaches guitar for a living and if he doesn't work - he doesn't eat. Simple as that. We can only play round the Wigan area, as he finishes work at about 9pm.

We have had to pass over a number of midweek gigs we had booked in at a nice small place in Altrincham (The Wheatsheaf) to our very good mates in Bad Habits, who I 'coincidentally' play bass with sometimes. The first one is this Thursday, when we cover a sudden cancellation. It will be nice to pick up a guitar with them again. Hopefully some photos will emerge from this gig.

The Kerbcrawlers are working on some more songs for the set - 'Money' by Pink Floyd and 'Always with me, always with you' by Joe Satriani are just two of them. We also intend to get 'Everyday' by Slade in there and return 'No more Mr Nice Guy' by Alice Cooper to its rightful place.

The threat of playing a few of our own songs looms somewhere off in the distance....
